  • To assist you with orders of Stampin’ Up! products and event bookings.
  • For legal purposes, as I have to provide evidence of income for tax purposes.
  • To keep you informed about new products, projects, tutorials, events and classes in relation to Stampin' Up! and The Crafty Owl. Basically to keep you up to date with what is going on!

Your personal information will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes without your explicit consent. 

Information Collected via Stampin’ Up!

Ordering Stampin’ Up! Products Online:

When you place an order for Stampin’ Up! products via my online store, Stampin’ Up! will ask for name, email, postal and billing addresses, phone number and payment details. This data is stored by Stampin’ Up! in the USA. Stampin’ Up! also pass your name, postal address and phone number onto UPS our shipping courier for the purposes of delivering your order. UPS use the data to print labels and for routing the packages within their system. Unless you have checked the 'no contact' box, Stampin’ Up! make all details (with the exception of payment information) available to me as your Stampin’ Up! demonstrator. This allows me to see your order and assist with returns or refunds and provide support to you. I add your email address to my mail service to enable me to send you customer service emails and any other information I believe is relevant to you. Stampin’ Up! and I keep your order records for 6 years to comply with legal requirements.

Information Collected By Me

Information You Give

You may give me information by filling in forms on my site at www.thecraftyowl.co.uk or blog.thecraftyowl.co.uk by corresponding with me by phone, e-mail or otherwise. The information you give me may include your name, address, e-mail address and phone number, financial and credit card information, personal description and photograph. The name and email address are stored in my Mail Service provider (Mailchimp). This data is housed in the US and Mailchimp is a participant in the TRUSTe Privacy Certification Programme.

I use the data to provide you with any of the following information:

  • Information regarding classes and events
  • Marketing information about upcoming special offers from Stampin’ Up! or product reviews
  • General crafting hints, tips, and tutorials or inspiration you can use in your own crafting

Each and every email has an unsubscribe link, giving you the opportunity to unsubscribe from all emails from me. I do also send out occasional emails giving you an option to update your preferences to allow for the emails to be suited to your interests as best as possible.
